A Conversation with Duane Hughes
Monday, November 17, 2014, 6-8PM

An Evening with Morgan Stanley's Legal and Compliance Division

We are all well aware of the word “bias”.  When bias is mentioned in

conversations it usually has a negative connotation, but what about

unconscious bias?  Unconscious bias impacts us in all facets of our

lives.  Are you curious to hear more about unconscious bias, how to

detect it and its potential impact in the work place?

Please join us for an engaging conversation with Duane Hughes,

Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer for Morgan Stanley

International Wealth Management, as he discusses the book, The Good

Black, and the role of unconscious bias in the workplace.  Duane was

recently awarded the Corporate Counsel of the Year by the MBBA

(Metropolitan Black Bar Association) for his many civic contributions

to the African American community at large and is a strong advocate

for diversity and inclusion.
