What Every GP (General Practitioner) Needs to Know About IP (Intellectual Property)
CLE, Thursday, April 26 (NY and NJ credit: 1.50 general)
Event chair: Bridgette Y. Ahn

Whether you are in-house counsel or in private practice, your clients will, from time to time, come to you with a problem or transaction that involves IP-related issues. On Thursday, April 26 at McCarter & English LLP (Four Gateway Center 100 Mulberry Street, Newark), a panel of experienced IP practitioners will teach you how to spot these issues, provide a concise but thorough overview of patents, trademarks, copyrights and trade secrets, and identify tips, tricks and traps in dealing with common IP issues.  The panel will also help you understand when it is necessary to involve IP experts in your matters. After attending this CLE program, you should be able to confidently and authoritatively respond to your clients when confronted with a sticky IP issue.

Registration will begin at 5:30 p.m., and the program will be followed by networking at 8 p.m., with light refreshments.  There is no fee for this program.  The event flyer can be viewed here.

Please RSVP by email to chaw@sullcrom.com.
