Honoring the Survivors & Breaking News: Korea and Japan Settle Dispute Over Comfort Women Issue
The Glendale Comfort Women Peace Monument
Breaking News: Korea and Japan have resolved their dispute over the "Comfort Women" issue. As part of the resolution, Japan offered a public apology and a one-billion yen ($8.3 million) compensation to Korean women who were forced to work in Japanese brothels during WWII. Read more here and here.
KALAGNY has played an integral part in the ongoing open discussion about this atrocity faced by the "Comfort Women." We hope to educate our members and our community so as to prevent any like incidents from arising in the future.
