KALAGNY Presents: Reporting Hate Crimes and the Prosecution Process

June 03, 2020 at 1:00PM

In a time of increased anti-Asian hate crimes, KALAGNY hopes to educate the public about the best practices for reporting bias crimes. A panel of experienced prosecutors will discuss what victims and witnesses can expect during all stages of a criminal prosecution – starting from the crime itself, the investigation, the filing of formal charges, plea bargaining, and beyond – and tips on what victims and witnesses can do every step of the way to make sure that justice is served. The program is in-person and attendees must wear a mask throughout the event.
