Please join us on Sunday, February 26, 2023 at 5 PM for the “Hate Crimes Information Panel.” Our expert panelists – Hannah Yu (Chief of Hate Crimes Unit at NY County DA’s Office), Joseb Gim (Chief of Criminal Court at Kings County DA’ Office), and Jo-Ann Yoo (Executive Director of the Asian American Federation) – will discuss what constitutes a “Hate Crime” and what to do if you are the victim of a Hate Crime, as well as answer any other questions you may have on this critical topic. This panel will be moderated by KALAGNY’s President Gene Kang and is sponsored by KALAGNY, the Korean Prosecutors Association (KPA), the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in New York, and the Korean American Association of Greater New York (KAAGNY).
