Justice for Christina Yuna Lee

Join AABANY and KALAGNY as we support the family of Christina Yuna Lee in court on Tuesday, July 30th. Christina's life tragically ended on February 13, 2022 when Assamad Nash broke into her apartment and stabbed her more than 40 times, killing her. Her killer has pleaded guilty to Murder in the Second Degree and Burglary in the First Degree and will be sentenced in New York Supreme Court to 30 years to life in state prison. Christina’s violent death shocked the city’s Asian American communities that were already suffering from ongoing attacks inspired by the pandemic. On July 30th, let’s gather to mark this moment of justice and to denounce anti-Asian hate and violence.
The location of the sentencing will be Part 71, at 100 Centre, Street, NY, NY. There are security procedures in the lobby that may have lines. Please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the sentencing.
